In today’s world where work place has employees of different cultures , it become important for the company to train or explain the importance of intercultural communication and value of the same in work place. Importance like:-

Knowledge sharing is the most important thing that a company needs make possible in the work place. If people working within the company don’t talk or not comfortable talking each other than knowledge sharing wouldn’t be possible.

The best way to avoid misunderstanding is to listen other carefully and response appropriately to others. If people or employees don’t talk to each other properly than they will not understand each other as well.

Saying “Sorry” will not show that you are weak but that will show that you are ready to understand others. Sometimes it happens that you misbehave with others because your mood is not good or any reason but you should apology with the other person quickly to make other person feel bad.

You should talk to the people who are from different cultures that way you will able to understand their thought process and what they think is good or bad. That way you will able to adopt good things about the other cultures.
