Solution

My field of study involves training in computational statistics and machine learning. The education that I have received helps in utilizing computing power to understand pattern in data sets and to do predictive analytics to make better decisions.

With the above background, I have decided to apply for the post of Biostatistics researcher who will be helping in building a machine learning based expert system that complements doctors and reduces error in diagnosis in a leading hospital chain.

The title of the position is Bio-statistics Researcher.

The primary motivation behind applying for this role is my experience in life wherein I have seen people and families being affected due to delayed and incorrect diagnosis of medical condition. I had seen my neighbor of 20 years being incorrectly diagnosed and suffering as a result. That event left an indelible mark on me and it always propelled and compelled me to think how to improve diagnosis in hospitals. With the help of advanced computing it is now possible to reduce errors in diagnosis and thus my education and my experience motivated me to pursue this role as my profession.
