Describe how you will prepare 50 ml of 10 micromolar of drug Y using 20mM stock solution

Solution

the formula we have is M1 x V1 = M2 x V2

M1 = 10 mM, V1 = 50 ml

M2 = 20 mM, V2 = ??

(10 x 50) = 20 x V2

V2 = (10 x 50) / 20

V2 = 500/20

V2= 25ml

take 25 ml of stock solution and make it to 50 ml by adding distilled water.
