List one thing that happens in each of the phases you looked at above: Prophase/Prometaphase: Metaphase Anaphase Telophase/Cytokinesis

a.) Prophase : Chromatin starts condensing and chromosomes are visible with centromere.

b.) Metaphase : Chromosomes allign at the equatorial plate called metaphase plate.

c.) Anaphase : Centromere is divided and Sister chromatids are pulled towards the poles.

d.) Telophase/ Cytokinesis: Around each pole, nuclear mebrane starts forming and cytoplasm is divided in cytokinesis, and two daughter cells are formed.

These are the stages of cell division or mitosis in which one cell is divided into two daughter cells. The dividing cell undergoes the stages namely prophase, metaphase, anaphase , telophase and cytokinesis.
