Explain the digestion process of DNA
Solution
Restriction enzymes are used to cut down DNA into smaller molecules by a process known as restrictkon digest.
In this process, the restriction enzymes cut DNA after identifying palindromic sequences. After the digestion of DNA ks done, it is analysed in agarose gel using electrophoresis. The molecules travel at different rates and different distances depending upon their sizes. This DNA can now be inserted into vector and be used for cloning purposes.
