Write the equilibriumconstant expression for the reaction As

Write the equilibrium-constant expression for the reaction As+3B 2Caq+ Daq in terms of [A], [B, [C], and [D] as needed. K,=

Solution

Ans-- we know that the  equilibrium constant expression is the ratio of the concentrations of the products over the reactants.

Given reaction is A(s) + 3B(l) <===> 2C(aq) + D(aq)

so, Kc = [C]^2 * [D] / [B]^3 * [A] -------------------(1)

note that the in reactant A and B are in solid and liquid phase , so it will be left out , because the concentration of A and B is equal to 1 .

Hence the final equilibrium constant expression will be

  Kc = [C]^2 * [D]
