Write molecular ionic and net ionic equations which show wha

\"Write molecular, ionic, and net ionic equations which show what happens in each of the following reactions.\"
How would I do this for the following 2 equations?
1. sodium sulfate + hydrochloric acid
2. ammonium hydroxide + barium chloride
Please show me how to write molecular, ionic, and net ionic equations for these two reactions, I\'m confused

Solution

1.)

Sodium sulfate is Na2SO4
Hydrochloric acid is HCl

The molecular reaction is
Na2SO4(aq) + 2HCl(aq) -----------> H2SO4(aq) + NaCl(aq)

The ionic equation is
2Na+(Aq) + SO4(^2-)(aq) + 2H+(Aq) + 2Cl-(aq) -----------> 2Na+(Aq) + SO4(^2-)(aq) + 2H+(Aq) + 2Cl-(aq)

The net ionic equation is no reaction (the same ions exist on both sides of the equation; they are spectator ions)

2.
ammonium hydroxide is NH4OH
barium chloride is BaCl2

molecular equation
2NH4OH(aq) + BaCl2(aq) ----> Ba(OH)2(aq) + 2NH4Cl(aq)

ionic equation
2NH4+(aq) + 2OH-(aq) + Ba+(aq) + 2Cl-(aq) ----> Ba(OH)2(aq) + 2NH4+(aq) + 2Cl-(aq)

net ionic equation (none)
