DYNAMICS Hint Coriolis Acceleration to be taken into account

DYNAMICS: Hint: Coriolis Acceleration to be taken into account.

(Please solve in Vector form)

Find:

a) The velocity of A as observed by B.

b) The acceleration of A as observed by B.

A is at a distance d=50 m in the upward direction from B at the instant under consideration.

Solution

a)

velocity of A = 20 cos 30 i + 20 sin 30 j

velocity of B = 20 ( -i )

velociy of A with respect to B = v A - vB = 20 cos 30 i + 20 sin 30 j +  20i = 37.32 i + 10 j

DYNAMICS: Hint: Coriolis Acceleration to be taken into account. (Please solve in Vector form) Find: a) The velocity of A as observed by B. b) The acceleration o
