A used motorcycle salesman has 20 Yamaha\'s, 20 BMWs, 20 Kawasaki\'s and 20 Honda\'s. How many motorcycles must she sell on a particular day to be sure that the salesman sells at least 5 motorcycles of the same manufacturer (on that day)?

The salesman should sell that atleast 5 motorcycles of the same manufacturer.

Atleast 5 motorcycles of the same manufacturer = 5 of 20 Yamaha\'s + 5 of 20 BMW\'s + 20 Kawasaki\'s + 20 Honda\'s.

= 20 motorcycles.

Therefore, Salesman must sell 20 motorcycles on a particular day to be sure that he/ she sells atleast 5 motorcycles of the same manufacturer.
