Use the counting techniques from the last chapter. A bag contains two red marbles, four green ones, one fluorescent pink one, four yellow ones, and two orange ones. Suzan grabs four at random. Find the probability of the indicated event.
She gets one of each color other than fluorescent pink, given that she gets the fluorescent pink one.

Solution

Total number of colors = 4 (Red, Green, pink and Orange).

It is given that she already got Pink one.

So she has to get 4 different colored marbles from the remaining 3 colors which are Red, Green and Orange.

It is impossible to draw 4 different colred marbles from 3 different colored marbles.

So required probability = 0
