What ethical dilemma have you recently experienced at work? Please provide background, dilemma, choice, and aftermath

I work in a retail store handling FMCG department. It has three departments Apparels, General merchandise and FMCG. We have central warehouse situated 1500miles for apparels and GM but for FMCG due to low shelf life we purchase locally. There was a set margin structure for all over the country. Once a vendor gave me products with lower margin. Let assume the products MRP was 100 as per company margin it has to be 85 after taxes but vendor had given me at 90. Vendor had negotiation power over me because it was only vendor for that company I cannot choose another. If I report to my head office about the same then they will take minimum one week to reset the margin for my store. Meanwhile the vendor payment will be late I cannot sell that product in between, customers will be unhappy because it was must have product. Quick resolution was needed.

During the stock receiving we do Goods Receiving Chillan (GRC) in SAP software. The physical stock then reflects in system. Let assume 100pcs of a biscuit came from vendor then after GRC the SAP system will reflect 100 biscuit with price, manufacturing date, expiry date etc.

Now first I talked to vendor but he refuses that if you do not want then return. I could not return because of heavy demand of that product.

Then I had taken a risk. During GRC I had shown that real MRP was 105 then the net price was increased to 90. The bill got match. But MRP at invoice was 100 and in my system it was 105. After a weak finance team did not pay attention to it and released the payment.
