Describe the systematic approach and steps involved in designing and developing a Digital Learning Object (DLO). How can this task be accomplished in a collaborative approach when working with a group of professionals.

Solution

To be designed successfully the DLOs have to be successful at different levels. They have to such that fulfill the requirements of instructors and learners. A design team is made to design and develop the DLO. The steps involved in designing and developing a Digital Learning Object are:

Setting up slides, sequences and scenes- a slide consisting text, imaginary variables or triggers is known as a template. These are made and use in instructional design project.

- using triggers- these are used as transition meduim between the slides to make advanced learning possible.

- creating variable- with the support of triggers plan variables can be created.

When working with a group of professionals, the teams can meet and discuss on the development of the DLO after the deadline for it is set. Decisions are taken on mutual voting system in this approach. Certain factors that will give quality to the work are listed and distributed to the team. The checklist is also created by the team individually and worked collaboratraly in meetings then the feedback on the same is taken from other colleagues.
