glucose is catabolized by process of glycolysis

glucose is converted into pyruvate .when there is not enough oxygen then pyruvic acid is converted into lactic acid

pyruvates then converted into acetyl-CoA in mitochondria

Acetyl COA converted into CO2 & much more hydrogen are realesed

CATABOLISM OF FATS = fats are stored in the form of triacylglycerides
