Therefore 3x - 10 = 8x - 15. Solving 5x = 5 or x = 1 (Option 1)

Therefore 3x + 10 = 8x - 15. Solving 5x = 25, Therefore x = 5

Therefore AP = 3x + 10 = (3*5) + 10 = 15 + 10 = 25 cm (Option 3)

Q5) By the internal intersection of secants theorem:

AE * EB = CE * ED

Therefore 8 * 5 = CE * 10. Or CE = 4 inches (Option 1)

Q6) By the internal intersection of secants theorem:

AE * EB = CE * ED

(x+2) * 8 = 3x * 4

Therefore 8x + 16 = 12x
