x = 2et/2 .........(1)  and

y = 4et ........(2)

now we have to eliminate t from both equation so

x = 2et / 2

take square of both sides

x2 = 4e(t / 2) * 2

x2 = 4et ......(3)

compare equation (2) and (3) we get

x2 = y

y = x2 and this is a equation of parabola.
