I need a response to my classmates discussion post
In a business environment, I believe that training is on-going since things are constantly changing around us. I received training when I first starting working at my job in the Operation Department. They flew me to New York for a week to learn all the functions of credit cards. It was definitely a challenge due to the fact that I had to be able to perform all the functions and skills I learned when I got back to Miami. It was stressful for the first few months since most of the things I learned was through experience rather than the notes I had taken during my stay in New York. Overall, the training was successful because it taught me the basics of my job function. “Training provides employees with the knowledge and skills to perform more effectively.” (Blanchard & Thacker, 2013) The training could have been improved in the sense that the person training me was not the most organized. I am fortunate to say that I learned this job function completely and was able to pass down my knowledge and train a few people that have or still work with me.

Solution
Training is a compulsory and important step in jobs that tok the ones related to business. This is because the market keeps on changing and the firms need to update their employees with latest happenings in order to stay in the competition. Hence employees need to take this training seriously. When we enter a job we do not know anything related to it . So we need to know what to do and learn all the necessary topics in order to be successful . Hence training is a very essential tool which every employee needs to take and yes training teaches mainly by personal experiences rather than notes and this is a very good step because experience leaves long time impact and things really deep into us.
