Archicebus is a genus of that lived in early Eocene forests ~55 million years ago. It is a fossil primates. Eocene forest is now Jingzhou in Hubei Province, China.It was discovered in 2003. The only known species of this family was A. achilles. It was a small primate, estimated to weigh ~20–30 grams.

Plesiadapis is one of the oldest known primate-like mammal genera. It is discovered that, it existed about 55-58 million years ago in North America and Europe.
