(0 Points, but a plausible response is required for credit on question) Name one BIM use that may not always offer value to every project. You should reference the PxP guide for examples of these. a. b. (2 Points) Give an example of a type of project where the BIM use above may not offer value and explain why. Solution

Solution:

a. The one major role of BIM is that it not only offers a accurate viewing of the 3 dimensional graphic of the particular project but it actually gives a complete representation of the entire structure including all the components which is more important for anyone to visualise though it doesn\'t actually plays a major role in terms of benefits.

b. The drawback of BIM was seen in a construction of a public elementary school in California where the BIM presented a complicated model for a 2 story building. The customer was sophisticated. It didn\'t require so much of design for a school and it increased the budget.

c. The type of project where BIM was used is CROSSRAIL, which is 1 of the biggest project in Europe. They required designers for 3D modelling & they found BIM more straightforward.

They feel using BIM in different levels of work progress is very genuine and trustworthy.
