As a senator,my role is to think about the benefit and development of the economy. When I would be called upon to cast a vote on the president\'s program, I would definitely vote in favor of the president\'s program. This is like disinvestment of Public Sector Undertakings.As the naval base is no longer serve any vitalfunction,so disinvesting in the naval base and redirecting the money into programs that serve national interest would be a wise decision.

I would act as a trustee as my constituence is definitely going to be affected by the decision.I am going to vote not as a guest but my role is to look from the perspectives of my constituence.

There would be only minor fluctuations in my decision but being a responsible citizen andtrue and loyal to my role,it would hardly matter whether the presidentis of the same political party or the opposition.

My seniority would definitely matter as the importance of my vote changes with the rise in seniority. I would be much under the pressure as i would hold the senior position in the constituence.
