A customer has asked you to crash the project and told you to crash an activity that is not on the critical path. What do you, as the project manager, suggest to your customer?

As a project manager my suggestion to the customer would be-

1.Invest the money to hasten the project time by deploying resources in an activity which is a part of the critical path.

2.Crashing any activity other than the ones in the critical path will not affect the project outcome rather it would be a waste of investment.

3.Crashing an activity other than the critical one may reduce the time of an activity but it would be beneficial only if, any delay in this activity may affect the project time line, indirectly, or if the activity is uncertain
