how to find vertical dimension of the mirror
Solution
suppose a person is standing x cm from the mirror
and the angle of depression from his eyes to bottom of the mirror is theta 1
angle of elevation from his eyes to top of the mirror is theta 2
so , vertical dimension is given by
h1 = x tan theta 1
h2 = x tan theta 2
vertical dimension = h1 + h2
= x ( tan theta 1 + theta 2 )
