Solution

One cycle of B oxidation produces 1 NADH, 1 FADH2 and 1 acetyl CoA.

1 NADH produces 2.5 ATP, 1 FADH2 produces 1.5 ATP and 1 acetyl CoA produces 10 ATP. So the total ATP are 14 ATP. In activation 2 ATP are consumed so the net ATP is 12 ATP.
