Area, A=300 mm × 400 mm = 12*104 mm2=12*104*10-6m2=0.12 m2

Average velocity in the duct, V avg=?

V avg= c*A/(dm/dt) = 6.10 N/m3*0.12 m2 /  0.350 kg/s= 2.09 m/s

Average velocity in the duct, V avg= 2.09 m/s
