(a) Total ionic equation:

CH3COOH(aq) + 2 Na^+(aq) + CO3^2-(aq) => CH3COO^-(aq) + 2 Na^+(aq) + HCO3^-(aq)


Net ionic equation:

CH3COOH(aq) + CO3^2-(aq) => CH3COO^-(aq) + HCO3^-(aq)



(b) Total ionic equation:

NH3(aq) + Na^+(aq) + HCO3^-(aq) => NH4^+(aq) + Na^+(aq) + CO3^2-(aq)


Net ionic equation:

NH3(aq) + HCO3^-(aq) => NH4^+(aq) + CO3^2-(aq)
