There are studies on eye color of fruit flies i.e white and red as well as on kind of wings.Wild-type fruit flies have red eyes, but there are recessive alleles of this eye color gene (called the white gene) that cause individuals to have white eyes.

i.e. X^WX^W or X^WX^w or X^WY will give red-eyed drosophila(fruit fly) because \'W\' for red eye color is dominant over \'w\' while X^wX^w or X^wY will give white eyed drosophila.
