Total number of miles/semester will 45 * 23 *2 = 2070 .

so do not worry, there has been printing mistake. and That\'s all.

Now cost of 1-round trip = 23*2 / 18 *2.12 = 5.41777777

total trips =15*3 = 45

total cost in 1 semester = 45*5.42 = 243.9
