is the following a binomial experiment? a jar has 20 green marbles and 30 red marbles in it. we pull a marble out over and over without replacement, for 10 times. we are interested in calculating how likely we get 5 red marbles out of the 10 marbles pulled out.

Solution

Here we are conducting an experiment with 50 marbles ,and each trail is not a bernouli trail because first trail has 50 marbles where as second has 49 marbles so the experiment is not Binomial expeiment.
