1: Some of the major ethical issues in sales field are

Competitors benchmarking is required for all companies to place themself in a much better position and to improve their current sales operations. But spy work on it and fetchcing data which is confidential in nature is actually against the businesss ethics. It may help the company to chose their pricing strategy and to develop a good promotion plan. But in a long run it will diminish companys image on the outside world. Also the second case of provising false promise or giving false information to customers is an ethical problem as well as legal concern. Customers are the buidiling block for any organisation and without their mouth of words or trust a company cannot sell their products. Thus such unethical practices from sales reps should be strictly avoinded and they shopuld be given moral practisse through leading by example and sufficient training.
