1. in modern business context the difference between these two (leader and manager) has been minimised. the manager has to be acts as a leader at the times of inspiring the workers, motivating them towards the goals. and has to works as a manager in the times of manager functions like planning, organizing, directing and controlling. so, one has to play both kind of roles and both activities at his work.

the ultimate goal of these two is one, i.e. use the resources in an optimum way and provide highest benefit to the firm. the people works in this way and they can achieve their targets. there are many models of leadership like, situational leadership, transactional leadership, transformational leadership and charishmatic leadership.

2. a succesful decison maker should concern all the realities and constraints while making a decision. he should not be too optimist or too pesimist. he should be like a realistic person and who stands with truth. should have complete awareness about the alternatives and their implications.

we face dilemmas at work place many of the times, we should take right decision at right time. otherwise the decision wont be give any positive or desired results. there is a right time for every thing, if we failed to make correct decision at the times, we will be the loosers.

our decisions will be based on past experience, by using our own experience we make decisons.
