e. Design of the study is cross sectional study.

f. The research question of interest is to point out the time during which the IMRAD structure was adopted in medical scientific writing. The primary concern is period and the secondary concern is journal.

g. The variables are the years and the percentage of articles in IMRAD structure. A random sample of article was selected from 4 major journals and and then the percentage was calculated.
