1- Titration of 10.0 mL of potassium hydroxide solution required 15.0 mL of 0.0250 M sulfaric acid solution. What is the molarity of the potassium hydroxide solution?

2- Could sulfaris acid be used to prepare a buffer solution? Why or why not?

3- What is the pH of the sulfaric acid solution if it has [H3O+]= 0.050M?

M1*V1 = M2*V2

M1*10 = 15*0.025

M1 = 0.0375M...............ANS


As sulfuric acid is a strong acid it cannot be used to prepare a buffer


pH = -log10[H3O+]

pH = 1.301
