Emotional intelligence is the ability to identify and manage your own emotions. A person with a reasonable or a high emotional intelligence has the capacity to be not only aware of one’s emotions but also control them and handle them in a manner so that interpersonal relationships are managed in a manner that is both judicious as well as empathetic.
