Solution

I need to figure out how many cycles of 2 fit in 13/2. Grabbing my calculator, I do a quick division:

13/2 /2 ==> 13 / 4 ==> 3.25

So I see that there are three cycles contained in this angle measure, plus another 0.25.. radians more. How much is three cycles?

3 × 2 = 6

I can subtract to find out how much is left over:

13/2 -6 ==> 13-12/2 ==> 1/2

Then the corresponding reduced angle is:

/2 radians.
