A) In any project , resources are necessary to carry out the project tasks. They can be human resource , facilities , equipments etc required for the completion of a project activity. Resources can divided into storable resource and non storable resource . Storable resource remain available unless depleted by usage, and may be replenished by project tasks which produce them. On the other hand , non renewable resources must be renewed for each time period , even if not utilsed in previous time periods.

So non availability of resources can be aconstraint for the completion of the project activity.

B) The main challenges in getting the resources assigned to the project is

i) Geographically dispersed project teams

ii) Usage of wrong tool for the project.

iii) Over booked or mis managed resources

iv) Wasting time looking for project documents or assets

v) Spending too much time in status meetings.
