Hence, it is imperative for a responsible leader to have Personal Skills to have one on one and group discussions to work together for the goal at hand. Leaders are expected to motivate their team members and encourage them to reach the common goal. There are times, when leaders have to delegate tasks responsibly to get the work done in an effective manner. It is the leader who builds and manages the team. Leaders with skills - EI, Decision Making & Motivation creates strong inter-relations and ultimately makes positive impact on the business. People with high EI are able to manage their stress effectively and find it easy to form inter personal relationships. A business decision must be taken by leader on the basis of research, experience and knowledge. A leader drives the vision of the organization. Therefore, he must be good at decision making skills.
A leader inspires his team to work collaboratively to work for the common cause. It helps the members to pursue self-improvement and self investment. With his sound inter-personal skills, he is able to get the team together on the compelling vision of the company and make them understand the bigger picture and guide them what is required to achieve the target. Such a competent leader should be able to influence the team to work on the realization of the goal.
In a work environment, it is likely for any conflict to arise. If a leader does not take corrective action, it can lead to toxic work environment and ultimately, it can have a negative impact on the business. He must make sure that healthy chaos is not converted to toxic one. Hence, while focussing on the productivity and day to day\'s task, it is important to maintain harmony.

Diversity management is the key to sustain in the competitive market. To communicate across different cultures, one must embrace the idea of diversity. It becomes easy for leaders to communicate the shared vision and knowledge with the org. members (of various ethnicity and cultures). With workforce diversity understanding, the company can reach international markets for business expansion too.

Leader must encourage employees to adapt entreprenuerial mindset and become the pillar of growth and sustainability. When people come forward with their innovative ideas, it helps the org in organic growth and helps employees to feel valued.
In current environment, where technology is changing rapidly and customers are becoming more knowedgeable, it is imperative for any org to change and adjust itself accordingly. If it does not change, it will cease to exist soon. E.g Nokia did not adopted Android OS earlier and hence, it lost the smart phone market severely. Therefore, effective leadership is important for change management. Change management demands commitment, clarity and connection. Leaders must make sure that changes are managed effectively and sustainably and the expectations of the stakeholders are met effectively.
