I have to answer questions on a lab about the kinetics of a bleach reaction. I have the graphs and data for it but I\'m not sure on the answers. Any help is appreciated!!

trial 2: 1st order

trial 3: 1st order

trial 4: graphs seems improper, order may be 1

2. rate constant

is the slope of ln (A) vs time line

using linear graphs-

trial one- -(-0.0356) sec-1 = 0.0356 sec-1

similarly all

trial 2- 0.0125 sec-1

trial 3- 0.0124 sec-1

trial 4 0.488 sec-1

5. Half life = 0.693/rate contant

trial 1- 19 sec

trial 2- 55 sec

trial3- 55 sec

trial4- 1 sec

6. Since half life as can be seen from the formula is only dependent on rate constant (which is in turn only temprearute dependent), it will be constant as long as temprerature is constant.

7. the collected data indicates constant half life within a sample since the rate constant value for ech trial and the temperature is constant.

8. since the calculated rate constant values for different trials is different, half lives would be different
