Thesis is the main idea of the research paper on the topic selected and the research paper should support the thesis. Hence enough information should be collected on the topic before writing a thesis and it is not required that you should know the thesis at the staring of the assignment. Many ideas would be developed while writing the research paper and the thesis statement also would change accordingly as the research progresses. Hence the thesis statement should be developed after completing the assignment to ensure it best matches with the ideas presented in the paper.

You have to be objective -True

While writing a research paper assignment you have to be objective and provide information that can be well supported with facts or proof. The information sources should be cited to support your arguments and the sources should be credible.

You can’t use the pronoun - True

Use of pronouns including me, we, I etc are inappropriate in formal writing and it is better to avoid the same to have clarity.

You can use your own experiences and observations as evidence - false

You can use your personal experience for the research paper only if they are relevant for the research assignment with adequate proof and in most of the cases use of personal experience is considered as inappropriate.
