Solution

During Respiration the excahnge of oxygen and carbon dioxide occurrs simultaneously, where oxygen is required to enter cells and carbon dioxide to release out as a waste. The carbon dioxide released from the tissue is transported to the capillaries. Further from these capillaries it travels to alveoli where exchange of gases takes place based on the partial pressure of the gases. Then from the alveoli Carbon dioxide is tansported to lungs follwed by exhalation through nose or mouth.

1. Carbon dioxide is released from the mitochondria.

2. Carbon dioxide diffuse into a capillary.

3. Carbon dioxide diffuse into an alveoli.

4. Carbon dioxide is carried to the lungs

5. Air exit through nose or mouth.
