In Arithmetic Progression,

Given first term a₁ = - 18 and common difference d = 0.2

Now we have to find the n^th term of an A.P.

i.e. a_n = a₁ + (n-1)* d

a_n  = -18 + (n-1)* 0.2

now we check for the first term put n = 1 in a_n we get

a₁ = -18 (verified)
