dydt 12y y0 2 Simple question but am confused How do you s

dy/dt = 1-2y; y(0) = 2

Simple question, but am confused.
How do you sub in (0) if there is no x....

I would really appreciate any help in solving this problem

Solution

dy/(1 - 2y) = dt Integrate both sides. -1/2*ln|1 - 2y| = t + C y =1/2 - C*e^(-2t) y(0) = 2 2 = 1/2 - C C = -3/2 y = 1/2 + 3/2*e^(-2t)
dy/dt = 1-2y; y(0) = 2 Simple question, but am confused. How do you sub in (0) if there is no x.... I would really appreciate any help in solving this problemSo
