Solution

Answer- Strategic renewal refers to change in business strategies related to the work in external environment. Strategic renewal is based on the concept of inventing new techniques and strategies to give profit in a business and to reinvent it. The behaviour of a worker in the organization is always different to his behaviour in his family or society. Structure of the organization, different policies, relations and interactions between managemnt and employees are some factors that influence organizational behaviour. The behaviour of the employees are influenced by the company\'s culture. If the environment is positive the employees become more hard working and productive on the other side if it is negative, they get involve in mismanagement. When the employees get appreciation and rewards for their hard work from the management, their behaviour changes towards the company and they become more responsible which effects the organization financially. Whenever the employees get the opportunity to make decisions with the managers, innovation and creativity are originated and risk taking capability is increased.

The basic feature of an industry is to accept changing markets, techniques and demands of customers to survive in the market. When the employees adopt the changes, the company also become eligible to get profit with that change.

There are many reasons for resist change by employees. If the changes are mismanaged and not explained clearly, the employees resist change. If an organization changes its strategies, become more technologically advanced etc, will create an issue for the workers because they feel that their positions will be eliminated. Employees generally take these changes negatively. Another reason may be the bad communication by the management. If the management do not explain the proper reasons and benefits to employees, they resist change. Office politics, no rewards for good work, poor timing, lack of support system etc, are some other reasons which encourage an employee to resist change in an organization.

The three faces of change are Kaizen, Kaikaku and Kakushin. Kaizan refers to an approach which solve problems and leads to continuous improvements in any organization. For example, kaizan is used to provide improvements in all sectors of a business like managers or workers. Second is Kaikaku, which refers to the change in an existing condition. For example, whenany software worker changes a software and it\'s functions together, it refers to the third face of change. It is widely used in IT community. The third face is Kakushin, which focuses on transformation, renewal, reform and innovation. For instance, it replaces an application with another application which work in completely different order.
