Solution
Scope Statement is a very improtant part of a project. It is actually an agreement between project developer and the person who requested the project. Through this aggrement the developers ensures that then will produce this project for sure and also take care of all the criterion that is mentioned by the person who requested the project. Followings are the elements that are must be included in scope statement-
1. First of all it contains the information about what is the need of this project. This part can be namnes as justification phase or purpose phase.
2. Next is the scope of the project that is what are the features of this project or the services provided by this project. It also include a brief description about the expected results of this project.
3. This phase include about the performence it should show after completion. There are many requirements depending on the project and at least we have to provide the high level requirements to complete the project.
4. Next scope statement should contain the project boundaries. A specific project must have certain boundary which the developer must remember at the time of developing the project.
5. This section includes the strategy to execute the project. If the complexity increases then strategy would be more difficult to plan. It is basically the approach of the developers towards the project.
6. This section contains the reports and /or documentation about Project deliverables. It is not a high level of details. We can add more details later on.
7. The next section is the acceptance criteria which implies some conditions or some criterion that the project sholud met before project deliverables are accepted.
8. This section is about the Constraints which work as the indicator in project. It indicates the conditions that the project must satisfy, When the project will be ready, and about the cost.
9. Next phase is the assumption on the specific project. While building there are some uncertain situations where we have to make assumptions to build the project with out having any trouble.
10. Next section is about the Cost estimation or budgets about the project. At the time of starting the project we have to roughly calculate the budget or epproximate cost of the project.
11. Next section tells about the benefit on the project. It compare with the actual cost of the project and also approximately calculate the cost benefit analysis.
