At which values of x does the graph of the function Fx have

At which value(s) of x does the graph of the function F(x) have a vertical asymptote? Check all that apply. F(x) = x - 5/3x(x + 1) A. x = -1 B. x = -3 C. x = 1 D. x = 3 E. x = 5 F. x = 0

Solution

For vetical asymptote, the denominator should be 0

3x * (x + 1) = 0

or, x = 0 and x = -1

Option-A) x = -1

Option-F) x = 0
