If we employ 10 workers average production will be 89 units
If we employ 10 workers, average production will be 8.9 units of output. The MP of the tenth worker is 5 units of output and those five units represent a diminishing marginal product. For every additional worker the MP will vary by only one unit, whether it be an increasing MP or a diminishing MP. If the first worker will produce 10 units of output, process the input-output relationship in the form of a table.

  Solution
The input-output relation
Marginal product= TP of (n+1)th unit -TP of nth unit
| Input | Output( Total product) | Marginal product |
| 1 | 10 | |
| 2 | 23 | 13 |
| 3 | 35 | 12 |
| 4 | 46 | 11 |
| 5 | 56 | 10 |
| 6 | 65 | 9 |
| 7 | 73 | 8 |
| 8 | 80 | 7 |
| 9 | 86 | 6 |
| 10 | 91 | 5 |
