Find x and y intercepts 3y 2x 6 I got an x intercept of 3

Find x and y intercepts.

3y = 2x - 6

I got an x intercept of -3 and y intercept of -9- please walk me through so I can see if I am right of if not, how to get the correct answer.   thank you

Solution

X-intercept is when y = 0,

given equation is

3y = 2x - 6

when y = 0,

3*0 = 2*x - 6

2*x = 6

x = 3

So x-intercept is +3

Similarly, y-intercept is when x = 0, So

3*y = 2*0 - 6

y = -6/3 = -2

y-intercept is (-9)

Find x and y intercepts. 3y = 2x - 6 I got an x intercept of -3 and y intercept of -9- please walk me through so I can see if I am right of if not, how to get t
