Discuss what would happen to a good web if the top carnivore

1.)Top carnivore is the organism (animals) that is situated at the top of the food web.And they eat flesh .As they are at the top of the food chain ,they are not eaten by any other organisms.when they become extinct the food web gets disturbed.Then the top place in the food web is occupied by the secondary consumers ,that cannot give a complete food web of ecological balance.Then the food web looks like PRODUCER->PRIMARY CONSUMER->SECONDARY CONSUMER in which the top flesh eating ,hunting animals top carnivore got extincted.

2.) If all producers were died of drought then that indicates an ecological imbalance in the food web.PLANTS are the primary producers because they prepare their own food by the process of photosynthesis by using light energy.They make all the food and energy in the ecosystem.Without the primary producers the life of the primary consumers gets badly effected which inturn disturbs the food for secondary consumers as well as to top carnivores.This makes the ecosystem imbalance.therefore the life of the remaining orgasims was greatly dependent on producers i.e PLANTS.So,without plants total ecosystem gets destroyed.
