I am trying to find the wavelength of red light from my value for d and theta in the equation lamda = d*sin(theta). I have values and uncertainties for d and theta (in radians) and an average value for my experimentally found wavelength of red light (658 nm). My values and uncertainties in d are .38145+-.00022 rad and for the red light .39721+-.0008 rad. I assume I would use the addition of fractional uncertainties, but the values I get are all over the place. Any thoughts on this example?

yes your assumption is true you should use the addition of frctional uncertainities whenever we are performing experiments. it is done for all experiments byy scientists in each nd every field.
