Solution
Unions in professional sports have certainly helped the younger generations of athletes to lead an affluent life as compared to their older counterparts. With the inception of unions in professional sports, the athletes were able to negotiate their way through the clinches of wealthy millionaire bosses and get themselves a respectable wage structure and amenities and lead a normal life.
The athletes could now concentrate more on their sports than the earlier case of working elsewhere to meet the family needs, this aspect could possibly be a hindrance to majority of the athletes back then but with the formation of unions the athletes could negotiate the terms with their bosses which could lead them to have a respectable wages and enable them to lead a normal life with their families.
Like any other Union, this union could also have negative side of its own.
