It is defined as time frame by which company will achieve its goals or vision.

Supervisors goals are short term. They provide daily, weekly or monthly task to employees which has less time horizon whereas Managers goals are achieved in long run. Managers focus more on overall performance of organization which leads to more time but Supervisor focus on employees growth or performance which can achieved in short run.

Managers take decision like increasing production, expansion of organization, setting up a new plant, etc which needs more time.
