1> There are 5+4=9 balls in total . So they can be arranged in 9! ways and as the 5 blue balls are identical, so we need to divide 9! by 5! where 5! = no of possible arrangements of 5 blue balls.

Number of ways= 9!/5! = 9*8*7*6*5!/5! = 9*8*7*6= 3024 (answer)
